Dr. Jennifer Hilton is an obstetrician gynecologist, certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). Prior to medical school, Dr. Hilton completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at the University of Saskatchewan (UofS). Her interest in reproductive physiology led her to continue research and she completed a Master of Science Degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the UofS in 2000. She graduated from the UofS College of Medicine in 2003 and then moved to Calgary to undertake specialty residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary. During her time in Calgary she spent extra time working with the Regional Fertility Program to gain experience with infertility treatments and monitoring. Following her training, Dr. Hilton practiced general Obstetrics and Gynecology with a special interest in Infertility in Regina. Dr. Hilton is a founding member of Queen City Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Over the years, Dr. Hilton assisted with fertility treatments and monitoring for in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles for patients from the Regina area in collaboration with many Fertility Clinics across Canada and the USA. This experience contributed to her desire to gain additional experience in all areas of reproductive medicine. She is currently completing subspecialty fellowship training in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at the University of British Columbia.
While training in Vancouver, Dr. Hilton continues to work with a provincial committee to develop a pathway for Fertility Care in Saskatchewan. She hopes to improve access to fertility care for patients in Saskatchewan upon completion of her subspecialty training.
Dr. Martha Briggs is an obstetrician gynecologist, certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). She has an undergraduate BSc. (Hon) in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph. She was a research assistant in a molecular biology lab at Queen’s University studying liver physiology before returning to school. She completed her medical school training at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON. She moved to Saskatchewan to complete specialty residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, SK. Dr. Briggs has completed fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the University of Saskatchewan in Regina, SK. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy and endometriosis. She offers a full range of options for management of gynecologic issues including abnormal bleeding, prolapse, incontinence and infertility. Dr. Briggs also provides complete obstetrical care for low and high risk pregnancies. She is currently the Medical Director of the Women’s Health Center at the Regina General Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan teaching at the undergraduate and post-graduate level.
