Referrals:
All appointments with an obstetrician/gynecologist at QCOG are by referral only. In Regina, the specialists are part of a pooled referral process. Your family physician, nurse practitioner or another specialist doctor can refer you to see an obstetrician/gynecologist. You may choose to be seen by the next available specialist or a specialist of your choice. Your doctor will need to complete a referral form for you.
Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic: The Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC) is an outpatient clinic in the Women’s Health Centre at the Regina General Hospital. The clinic sees women by REFFERAL ONLY who are early (less than 20 weeks) in their pregnancy, and who are having problems such as pain, bleeding or have been diagnosed with a pregnancy loss (miscarriage).
