Dr. Tara Peters is an obstetrician gynecologist, certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). She earned her BSc at Simon Fraser University. She went on to obtain her MD at the University of British Columbia. She then moved to Saskatchewan in 2011 to complete her specialty residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the University of Saskatchewan, at the Regina training site. Dr. Peters offers a full range of medical and surgical options for management of gynecologic issues including abnormal bleeding, contraception, prolapse, incontinence and infertility. She also provides complete obstetrical care for low and high risk pregnancies. Dr. Peters is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, actively teaching at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. In addition, she has been involved in accreditation of the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine and is on the Faculty Engagement Committee with the University of Saskatchewan. Outside of work she enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and baby daughter.
